I want to ensure all students have schools that are innovative, safe, and inclusive to maximize learning potential and opportunity as I once had. I’m running because I believe I can best serve our community and help our students find their passions, purpose, and generate new leaders. It’s time we provide students with leaders who inspire hope, creativity, and compassion.

 I am running for Chino Valley Unified School Board in Trustee Area 1 because I want to return CVUSD to a thriving school district that leads by example, innovation, and best practices.

I want to see CVUSD shape the future of education, fostering a safe, inclusive, supportive, and high quality education for our most valuable community members – our students.

CVUSD has been responsible for educating students and partnering with parents and caregivers in Chino Valley’s public schools for over 160 years. It has been integral to creating the amazing community we all call home.

 My name is Beau McFarland and I’m running for a seat on the Board of Education for the Chino Valley Unified School District. In addition to having a strong commitment to the Chino Valley community, I have spent my entire career as a teacher and program coordinator at both the high school and college level. Furthermore, my wife is a teacher in the district, which only deepens my connection to the issues our schools are facing. Both my wife and I were educated in California public schools, and we owe the trajectories of our lives, our vocations in education, and who we are as people to the amazing teachers who impacted us along the way.
